Product Overview

The Mil-tek X-Press 100S Offshore Waste Compactor is a micro size waste compactor ideal for offshore locations such as platforms and rigs. As it is stainless steel, it can be seamlessly installed in kitchens or food preparation areas and the small footprint size of just 52cm2 ensures that it can be installed without major disruption.

The Offshore Waste Compactor is powered exclusively by compressed air, so can be installed indoors and in clean, working environments. It is free from hydraulic oil or other contaminants.

For offshore environments, waste compaction is vital. By installing the XP100S Compactor inside a working environment such as a food preparation area, you create a seamless process from waste create to waste disposal.

The elongated cylinder of the XP100S Compactor allows for more compaction with each cycle, creating densely compacted bags of waste up to 50 kg in weight. This further minimizes the amount of space required to store waste. The longer cylinder also uses less power with each stroke, and can run on as little as 2 bars of pressure.

Q&A

What are the benefits of a pneumatic waste compactor over a hydraulic waste compactor?
Pneumatic compactors use far less energy to run. Mil-tek’s patented ECO-Drive system applies constant downward pressure using the available power, thereby further compacting waste without using additional energy. Pneumatic machines are also quieter in operation and contain no inherent risk of oil contamination or electrical fire.

Can a Mil-tek Offshore Waste Compactor be installed inside a kitchen where food is being prepared?
Yes you can. The Offshore Waste Compactor is designed for exactly this. It has a stainless steel frame meaning it is ideal for kitchens, it is low on both noise and energy usage, and it’s small size further enhances its flexibility.

How does the XP100S Compactor assist with offshore waste management?
In a word: compaction. Waste takes up room. It’s a bulky nuisance and in offshore environments, space is key. With a Mil-tek 100S Offshore Waste Compactor, you can compact non-recyclable waste by a factor of 10:1. freeing up precious space.

What level of service and maintenance does the XP100S require?
Like most good machines, we recommend an annual service by a certified Mil-tek technician to ensure a healthy and long-lasting machine. In Offshore environments, this might not be practically possible, so be sure to speak to a consultant about service options and spare parts kits when you buy.

Waste Compactors in Kitchens & Food Preparation Areas
